Having problems with your Volvo S60 ?
I bought a USED 2004 vovlo s60 couple of days ago with a mileage of 150,000 miles. i didn't do a pre-purchase inspection.
It has a 30 days used car warranty. But after driving for one day, the "check engine" light is on, and also the automatic transmission makes noise whenever i change it. any suggestions?? and will the 30 days warranty cover for the engine and the transmission.
The 30 day covers the car from bumper to bumper so bring the car back as soon as you can so there will not be any miss understanding between you and the dealer. The check engine light indicates that the car's ECM has detected am problem and it may be related to the Transmission problem you have, if there is an Auto Zone around your area you can have the car scanned free of charge to find out what DTC codes are in the history so you have a better idea on what issues the car's drive train has so you know what repairs the dealer needs to do. As for the transmission making noise, it could be low on fluid or the filter is dirty and the transmission will need to be serviced, regardless noise from a transmission is not good and not addressed will be a costly repair. Good luck and keep me posted and read through your sales agreement to the warranty and what the local warranty covers you. " auto lemon law"
