Roger that. there's voltage overload and that resister is kicking out. You have a short. the resistor needs replacing, but if the board is a gnarly as I think it is you'll need to call the people who sold you the unit. Hope you're in warranty. Since I don't know a thing about a soldier, but do about electronics, the problem is obvious. Bet the short includes or is in the MPG function display. do you have VO meter? and do you know how to operate it?
