Water in car under glovebox

\015 I have a mystery. my 96 Mazda Capella s/w leaks a pool of water onto the passenger side footwell. On a recent day out (20 min each way) i ran the air con on hot one way and cold the other to see if the a/c hoses were busted but they are fine. At different times I have poured water all over the windscreen, the door frame, and the roof, no water streamed thru inside anywhere. The door rubbers are in really good condition and ive cleaned out the drainage hose under the bonnet by the windscreen. It seems to happen when we have heavy rain - its rained heavily twice since i bought it a month ago. Plus I lock my car at night due to car thieves in the area so i always make sure my doors are closed properly. (in case u r wondering!)\012When i pulled the dash off the water seemed to be more noticable in the sponge of the springloaded holder thing between the 2 big covered in gadgets. Any inspiration on where/how the water is getting in there??\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Answers :

I will sugest for you to put clear attention to the clear glue silicon at the low side of the wind shield righ side.maybe the wind shield was change at some point and a small area was not covered by the glue.or the glue got dryout true the years.on the just small area.
