Having problems with your 2009 Mazda MAZDA3 ?

Mazda 2 alarm problem

\015 We bought a Mazda 2 brand new from an agent and sometimes when we lock the door, there is an alarm like sound, but not as loud as I am used to. It sounds like it is the alarm but it is only high pitched, my car's alarm sounds louder. Sometimes it gives problems but sometimes not. The dealer said he will find out what the problem is but it doesn't seem like it is working. If you leave it, it stops after a while but the problem is that everytime you lock the car, the alarm goes off for some time and then stop automatically. Kind of imbarresing. If someone can please help. Thank You.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Answers :

Take it back to mazda and get it looked at.\015\012mine is the same goes off for no reason when i lock the car mazda do not know what is causing the problem but get your name down on the list for the parts when they do work it out because by the sounds of it every mazda 2 is going to have to have the alarm fixed when they solve the problem
\015\012I had the same problem with my 10 reg M2 (no prob with my previous 08).
\015\012Mazda dealer admitted this was a world wide problem. Mazda themselves had changed supplier for the alarm box(possibly to cut costs). At first the dealer said it would take about a week to get a replacement. A week later changed this to 4-6 weeks, due to demand. I informed them if it wasn't replaced in the next 7 days, they would be getting my vehicle back for good.
\015\012Hey presto. One alarm box supplied and fitted in less than 48 hours.
\015\012I don't mess around. Previously had a problem with a different car manufacturer. Got the BBC involved, and in less than 1 hour was asked , what colour would you like your new vehicle in SIR.
