The transmission is completely seal from the engine itself, just as the engine has the main crank seal keeping the oil from leaking into the tranny. gas can also leak into the crankcase but not transmission fluid. there is no way the transmission fluid can leak into your crankcase, its impossible. Sabb on another hand has incorporate transmission and oil pan in one unit. All Mazda transmission as its own unit from automatic to standard. the only thing is different with automatic tranny is the cooler which located in front with the radiator. Gas and water I can see in the crankcase/oilpan but not transmission fluid, unless someone use the wrong container thinking its oil instead of transmission fluid after all they both container looks lot alike. I would completely drain out all of the oil out of the engine and refill it with fresh oil again and recheck. On the gas side, the only way gas can get in the engine and into the crankcase is through the injectors, check and make sure your injectors are in working condition and not getting jam putting more fuel in the intake than it needs. I can see if you have a head gasket leaks as your crankcase mix with oil,gas and antifreeze/water it may give you a different distinguish looks and it may look and feel like tranny fluid. keep in mind, the new type of antifreeze is red color just as your transmission fluid color and others come in green. I cant picture or visualize tranny fluid leaking and going into your crankcase though the main crank seal unless your inner engine block is completely crack.
Sounds like you have a fuel injector that is stuck open and flooding gas into the crankcase, run a fuel pressure leak test by hooking up a fuel pressure test guage to the test valve on the top of the engine, there is a valve there that looks like a tire valve, you will need to buy the test guage, if the system pressure drops rapidly after shut down of the engine then you have a leaking injector.
