FUSE PROBLEM? (NO REAR LIGHTS)

\015 I was driving and was pulled over twice -- my rear tail lights are all out but my brakes lights work so when I'm driving at night it looks like my lights aren't on. My head lights work and some on the interior lights are out (on the temp control, radio, etc...) could this be a fuse problem or something major?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

First thing to do is check the fuses. Don't just look at them, pull them out and test them with a fuse tester available at most auto parts stores (often with several spare fuses, very handy) or you can use a volt/ohm meter which is also available at most auto parts stores. Fuses are the most likely culprit and until they are known to be good, I wouldn't worry about a bigger problem.
