Having problems with your 2005 Toyota Corolla ?

Engine light how do i jump the pins on the mil plug,to get the dash light to flash the code,so i can have some clue of why the engine light is on,1st of all i live in canada and it is -19 degrees celcius here,could it be an o2 sensor heater problem,everything else on car seems fine

Answers :

You do not jump the pins. that is for older cars. you have obdII you need a scanner to read it. auto zone will scan for free and rent the tool for free so you can reset it.
