How many miles on transmission before having to change the oil?

\015 How many miles do you get to put into your transmission of a 2005 suzuki forenza before having to have it changed?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

Answers :

That all depends on how you drive it. If you beat the car and you do not maintain it, chances are it will fail very early in its service life. If you drive conservatively and have the transmission serviced at frequent intervals it will last the life of the car.
\015\012I have a bronco with 268,000 miles on it, yes 268,000 miles on a ford. It doesn't burn a drop of oil and the tranny is original. Everything works great, but I was religious about changing the oil every three thousand miles and making sure the tranny was serviced.
\015\012In contrast my wife owned a 98 Hyundai (before I met her) she never changed the oil and drove like a lunatic, the tranny went at 116,000 miles and it burned oil like it was going out of style. go figure.
