Having problems with your 2004 Kia Optima ?

2004 Optima won't start. and 'emission' light came on.

\015 .The battery, timing belt and starter are good. The gas flows. But the car won't start. After sitting all night, it started this morning and was good all day. Tonight, however, it won't start again. The emission light is on still. Feels like a sensor is not good.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

Answers :

There is a few things you need to check:
  1. mass air flow sensor
  2. \015\012
  3. o2 sensors
  4. \015\012
  5. catalytic converter
\015\012I would take it to Advance or Auto Zone and get a free diagnostic reading. Let me know if what the codes are and I can tell you what it is. With the emissions light on there is going to be some code that it is pulling.
