Having problems with your 2004 Ford Taurus ?

My 2004 ford tauras ses keeps stalling. i have changed the fule injector inside the gas tank along with the baskets, and bought a new mass airflow sensor. it ran well for like 10 min then the check engine light came back on and it continues to stall, and the idle is quite low, usually under 1000rpm. it's difficult to get it to go past 20mph. any ideas as to why my car is running like a piece of ****?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Your check engine light is on because the computer in your car has detected a problem. Take it to Autozone or Advanced to have it scanned. They do this for free and they can tell you why it is on. This is the best way to go about this because there are literally a hundred different things that cause the light to come on. This way, you are not spending money and time on parts you don't need. The stalling could be a vacuum leak or clogged fuel filter. As far as the idle, it may need adjusted or it could be a bad idle control sensor. By getting the car scanned, you will know for sure, plus, it is free.
