Having problems with your 2004 Ford Fusion ?

Vauxhall Frontera Speedo Fault

\015 I have a series 2 Frontera (2000) 2.2 Petrol Sport RS 4x4. This modelhas been known to have a nagging fault which is a non operatingspeedo. Some people say that it is the fault of the PCB in thedashboard, and could possibly be a crack or dry solder joints. However, does anyone have knowledge of this fault? and if so couldanyone point me in the right direction for more information? Prior tolooking at the board, does anyone know how to test if the speedo dialitself is working? ie the system is electronic.Themanufacturers do not acknowledge that there has been faults of thisnature. Hence it is difficult to get any sense from the Main Dealers ie they tend to change the board, and less that one year later you areback where you started from, minus a big wad of cash :(Grateful for any information.CheersAlexps I put this under the Ford Fusion grouping as the Frontera is sold under another name in the US. but I am not sure what it is called and who distributes it.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018
