Having problems with your 2004 Dodge Dakota ?

Minor egine load causes down shift 2004 dakato

\015 2004 dakota, 4.7l, 4x4. At speeds of 55mph and above truck runs prefect on flat surface ,but when there is a very slight incline it down shifts and rpms increase. Any ideas. Thanks\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Take it to a transmission specialist and get the tps checked.(throttle position sensor) most if not all specilists will have a scanner for this.
