Ok then, from your description and the
\015\012make/model/year of the car you have there,
\015\012it appears you've reset the VATS.
\015\012The car's security immobilizer
\015\012reader at the key switch
\015\012does not recognize the coded
\015\012chip in the ignition key any longer.
\015\012You can try to put the key
\015\012in the ignition, turn to the on position &
\015\012wait at least 10 min like that.
\015\012(Do not turn off the key switch before
\015\01210 minutes as elapsed!)
\015\012Once done, the key is re-programmed and
\015\012should allow the fuel injectors to work again.
\015\012The car would start now if corrected.
\015\012In some cases, the VATS (GM'S VEHICLE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM)
\015\012will re learn the code this way, and will then
\015\012allow the restart, however if this does not work,
\015\012then you can simply tow it to any GM vehicle dealer
\015\012to have the service department re code it.
\015\012There is a permanent solution though.
\015\012Adding the PLJX Self learning Bypass module (59.95)
\015\012will bypass the PASSLOCK system in your vehicle
\015\012for good. See this at www.PASSLOCK2.com
\015\012Good luck I hope method 1 does the trick!

Here is the 30 min relearn:

Ignition keys relearn takes about 30 min to do. 30-Minute Learn\015\012Procedure 1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. 2. Attempt to\015\012start the engine, then release the key to ON; the vehicle will not\015\012start. 3. Observe the SECURITY tell tale light. After approximately 10\015\012minutes, the light will turn OFF. 4. Turn OFF the ignition switch, and\015\012wait 5 seconds. 5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 - two more times - for a\015\012total of 3 cycles of 10 minutes. 3x10 = 30 minutes. The vehicle is now\015\012ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or\015\012passwords on the next ignition switch turn from OFF to CRANK Important:\015\012Turn the Ignition Switch OFF. The vehicle learns the Passlock\015\012Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition\015\012from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to\015\012start the vehicle. 6. Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the\015\012Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password. 7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs\015\012will self clear after 100 ignition cycles. Without a scan tool you may\015\012have momentary starter interruptions while history clears itself.
