Having problems with your 2002 Dodge Caravan ?

\015 On the 2002 Dodge Caravan there where 2 different wiring harnesses and 2 different radio styles. One style was a am/fm radio with a casette player, and the other was an am/fm radio with a cd player. I'm trying to change the casette player to the cd player that was installed within the same year. The players were put in during the same year they just upgraded after a certain month in the year. The casette player has 16 different wires to the wireing harness that plugs into the back of the stereo, and the cd player harness only has 14 wires. Also none of the colors match the harness for the cd player. I need to know what wires I need to hook up to the cd player ,from the harness from the casette player. Can you tell me what wires go where so I don't have to worry about it not working, or hooking up the speaker wires backwords?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

Answers :

Your best bet on that one is to go to a place that sells car audio systems or even some autoparts retailers have them, and get the proper adapter harness already made up. A few more dollars but, a whole lot less headaches.
