Having problems with your 2001 Nissan Maxima ?

Right side head light is not working , I change the bulb thinking it was not good .I also check the fuse and it is good .the high beam is working just the low beam is not working..

\015\012You may need to check the wiring or the 3 terminal connector with special attention to the wire/connector of the low beam. In certain instances, it maybe simpler to hard wire another wire from the left's low beam and extend it to the right. As to the connector, you may need to scrape off any burn marks or corrosion.

It sounds like the same sort of issue I had. Got my local mechanic to fix it but I belive it might be a DIY if you are willing.

I would check the DRL module - it appears that Nissan did not do a good job soldering the contact points. My mechanic re-soldered the contact points and the problem went away. He also suggested that this is becoming a common problem not just for Maximas but other Nissan products as well. Took about an hour to repair...good luck.
