Having problems with your 2001 Nissan Altima ?

Dashboard gauges fail & engine misfires.

\015 My 2001 nissan altima fuel gauge is broke... but everyday when i leave work after a mile or two all the dashboard guages go hay wire & most of the time they all will drop to zero (fuel, speed, rpm) then soon after that happen's, the engine loses power & it feel like im driving on 3 cylinder's... i have been popping it in neutral & back into drive & it will go fine for another mile or two... but happens again... & it only happens when i leave work. after i get home park it for a half hour & go back out it runs fine... i know it could be the cylinder misfiring, so im thinking spark plugs & distibutor cap... BUT, since it only happens when the gauges fail im guessing that its something electrical.. does any body have suggestions?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018
