Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo ?

Had a bad sensor and replaced it, still haveing trouble

\015 I have a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo, my check engine came on and I took it to autozone to have it scaned, it said bank 1 senor 1 so I replaced it and had the codes reset, well the light came back on and the codes saying the same thing. Is it Possiable the I have a bad fuel pump? And the car is hard to start both cold and warm.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Answers :

Yes it could be the fuel pump and you might try to change the fuel filter first. cheeper and easy to change compared to a fuel pump.pull the battery cable off pos. side for 20 seconds and replace it, the codes will be cleared and if it comes on again, the code will be what is going on now, hope this helps, thanks robert b.
