Having problems with your 2000 Honda Accord ?

Replacing waterpump on 2000 honda accord se 4cyl

\015 I cannot remove bottom pulley bolt so that i can remove dust cover to get to the water pump.IS the bolt a left hand thread and if not do i need a special tool.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

You have to use a high torque impact wrench or you need a special tool to hold the pulley.
\015\012Care must be taken to get the timing belts markings correct before removing them.
\015\012You read all the step possibles to remove the timing belt and reinstall.
\015\012But you still can remove the crankshaft Bolt.
\015\012OK. Maybe you 275 ft. impact gun. don't work for remove.
\015\012A high torqued bolt.
\015\012The way that always work for me in all my same cases is.
\015\0121--Remove the Negative Battery terminal.
\015\0122--Remove the Starter motor to get acces to the fly wheel dents.
\015\012With a Pry bar or Big plain Screw driver Lock the Engine
\015\012By the Dents of the Flywheel.
\015\012And loose the Crank bolt With a Breaker Bar and the repective socket.
\015\012Be patient. I'm sure this work. It's worked for me a lots of times.
