Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Malibu ?

2000 Malibu keeps running hot.

\015 Have a 2000 Malibu that had blown head gasket. Have replaced the head gasket and intake gasket. It keeps getting hot even though I have replaced the radiator cap and thermostat. Think the water pump is good. What else can I try?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 26-02-2018

Answers :

Is there any coolant inside the car. smell around the passenger side floor for coolant and see if its wet if it is the heater core is leaking, the coolant has to be going somewhere you could have a leaking coolant hose or your rad itself could be screwed. i had a car with no cooling fan for 2 years and the only time it got hot is when you werent moving so i doubt its your fan
Is the electric cooling fan operating properly.
