Having problems with your 1999 Ford F150 Regular Cab ?

92 f150 XLT Left front brake drags,ABS & brk lght stays on

\015 Have changed rotors, bearings, pads, calipers, left hose, blead all lines, including Porportioning valve and master cylinder. Nothing works, left front still drags and can't get ABS and brake light to go out.I'm worried about burning out my bearings and am already starting to get crackes\015\012in my new brake pads on the drivers side. I have a book on this model, and have followed the book and nothing helps, the brake still drags to much. Is there something I'm missing or is it a sensor problem?? I also have the service manual for ford 92 body/chassis/electrical revised\015\012edition. Can you tell me what part I need to read in it to solve this problem? Deperate. Thank you Bob\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Answers :

The ABS is only a sensor and won't effect the brakeing even if the light is on. the only thing I can think to check is the steel brake line that connects to the rubber line. May be it's pinched and isn't letting the pressure off when you let off the brakes.
