Having problems with your 1998 Pontiac Firebird ?

Blown 10 amp fuse on DRL and dash goes dead 2001 Trans Am

\015 I am having a problem with my dash going dead and blowing the 10 amp fuse after startup. When this happens the daytime running lights also go out, the car runs fine but will not restart until you replace the fuse again. The headlights come on as well as the parking lights and turn signals work etc after the fuse blows. Had this problem previously and thought it was because of water in the DRL sockets had fried them. Replaced both sockets and did not have the problem again for a year to a year and a half. Now the same problem with the new sockets.\015\012Suggestions?\015\012Thanks in advance\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018
