Having problems with your 1998 Chevrolet C1500 ?

1998 chevrolet truck 5.7 liter code p1345 whats it mean says it is camshaft to crankshaft position correlation fault just put new distributor on because of stripped tooth new distributor came with new sensor and cap and rotor and gear of course truck runs good but cant get this code to go away can you help please

You have to cam sync these trucks. What that means is you dont time it like old trucks. You loosen the distributor slightly then with a scanner hooked up your looking at the cam data. Needs to be plus or minus 3 from 0. How you set it is you gun the engine above 3000 or so. Just a quick gun. Then check. Move distributor if off a little at a time. You will need a shop to do this for you.
I change darn near every sensor and 3 fuel pump on my "1998 chevy tahoe sense last 5yrs.i own it,and the last fuel pump on it two days ago and it just turns over hard,but won't crank.
