Having problems with your 1997 Dodge Caravan ?

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport starts and DIES immediatly.....

\015 Okay so The van will start and then will die immediately.. \302\240I have had SEVERAL codes come and go while trying to fix the van. \302\240The Fist codes were\015\012P0601 \302\240Something ot do with the PCM\015\012P0106 \302\240map or baro circuit range performance problem\015\012P0107 \302\240map sensor voltage too low\015\012\015\012So, I've replaced the MAP sensor. \302\240Didn't fix the problem.. \302\240\015\012I jsut bought this van aobut a month ago so I guess I just figured the previous owners kept up with regular maintinence... \302\240NOT \302\240so I check the plugs and wires \302\240 \302\240 \302\240 (YUK) \302\240replaced those. \302\240The factory wires were still on this van.. \302\240That didnt' fix the problem.. \302\240\015\012So then I started thinking this might be a fuel delivery issue, so I replaced the fuel filter.. \302\240NOPE that didn't fix it either. \302\240Okay so now I got a new code\302\240\015\012P0121 \302\240Throttle position sensor\015\012So i replace it. \302\240NOPE not fixed. \302\240ergggggggggggggg\015\012Okay so I've taken the throttle body off and gave it a good cleaning and and put it back on. \302\240STILL NOT FIXED \302\240But i got a new code \302\240\015\012P0320 \302\240Not quit sure what this one is..........\015\012So still convinced this is a fuel delivery issue I go buy the $200 \302\240fuel pump and replace it.. \302\240STILL NOT FIXED.\015\012\015\012Can someone??? \302\240Anyone????? \302\240possibly help me?? \302\240It wont start so I can't take it to the mechanic. \302\240Its pulled all the way forward in my drive way so I won't be able to pull it down there and MOST importantly I wanna be able to fix it myself.. \302\240I hate paying someone to $100.00 / hr to fix my car..\015\012\015\012ANY SUGGESTIONS anyone???\015\012\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

\015\012P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
Your crankshaft position sensor has failed.  Sometimes it is possible that it's a wiring issue, but 95% of the time it's the sensor itself.  I would check the wires that you put them back on correctly when you changed them and the plugs.  Let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!
You have a wiring problem (harness, connector, power, ground, pin tension, etc.) you have to find it.
