1995 Saab 900S Conv Top won't close

\015 The motor that lifts the flap up to access my convertible top has\015\012failed. When I try to open or close it nothing happens - the switch\015\012reacts to nothing. I got the top into the closed position but the back\015\012hooks (behind the back seats) are not fastened to the rear locking\015\012mechanism to secure the top. Furthermore, it seems the way the top\015\012closed is crooked, because now there are gaps in the seal between the\015\012front and rear windows that allows air in at high speeds (and water\015\012too).\015\012\015\012I do not want to replace the top because the car isn't worth the cost\015\012of repair. What is the best way to lock the back of the top down, and\015\012seal the gaps caused by crooked top closure?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018
