Be careful opening the hood when ever coolant is leaking as it can easily burn you. Do you see where the leak is coming from? If it is leaking out of the cap or out of the overflow container in the car, then you probably just have a bad cap. The caps use tension to pressurize the cooling system. If it loses this tension, as they do over time, it will allow it to leak when it gets warm. Make sure you are running a correct mix of coolant and water. The coolant raises the boiling temperature of plain water, and is necessary for the system to function properly. If you check these and it is still leaking, try to see where exactly it is leaking from.
