First we must be sure that the power is reaching the fan ,disconnect the wires from the switch .run a wire from the positivefanwire direct to positive terminal on battery ,do the same onthe negativeside, and the fan should run if there is nothing wrong with it. if it doesnt run then thatis the problem, if ok then connect wires back to swich, before getting too serious turn on ignition, with a test light check that there is current at the relay ,at the switch and at the power in to the relayfrom the mainpower supply.there should be afuse that protects all these things some where ,and thhe more i think on it the more ifeel that is where we should be looking,i`ll wait on you but remember ,the problem doesn`t have to be big to stop things working
Fans only turn on if idling for 10 minutes or longer and engine temp is at a certain temp. If not working, then either relay or temp sensor is bad.
Make sure thermostat is new as well.
