Having problems with your 1994 Ford Escort ?

Location for blower motor/heater/fan fuse?

\015 We bought this car from a private owner, it did not come with a owners manual... So my problem is, i can feel the heat coming out of the vents just not blowing out no matter what setting the fan is on.. So would this be the blower motor?n Heater core? Ort fan? I would like to know where the fuse is located for these things before i try ripping the car to pieces to replace things that may not need to be replaced? It is a HATCHBACK....\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

Answers :

Before you rip, check the 30A HEATER CIRCUIT BREAKER in the instrument panel fuse panel. The input is hot with the engine running. CB output connects directly to the heater blower motor. A cluster of heater blower motor resistors determines blower speed as selected by the blower switch in the heater control assembly. The switch setting is sent to the powertrain control module (PCM) which acts to turn the blower motor on at the selected speed.
