94 Dodge Spirit electrical problems

\015 I have one automatic seatbelt in my car. A couple of months ago it started freaking out. It would lock randomly so people couldn't get out of the car. It would start switching positions without a trigger (door wouldn't be open). I noticed if I unlatched it, it would stop. A sensor problem was suggested to me, but I noticed there were no problems with the dome light or the light that tells me the seatbelt is not attached. I was just ignoring the problem until the other day. All of a sudden my radio stopped working. When I turned on the car the radio was completely dead. At first I thought it was just a fuse or the radio burned out. Then, the clock on the radio turned on while I was driving. I started playing with the radio and then it started playing a local station. Less than a minute later, the station switched to static. I tried turning it down and off, but the control had no effect. It has been switching through these phases. The control buttons will light up. The odd thing though is last night the display started having 5 red lines in it. Several people have suggested shorts in the wiring, but I'm a little worried because the problems seem to be spreading in my electrical system.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Car wont start when i turn they key. The battery is fine. Its a connectivity problem between the ignition and the starter. How do I go about fixing this?
Sounds like two separate problems. The radio is a self contained unit and not connected to the seatbelt in any way. Mine did the same thing just before it died, not worth fixing just replace it. Seatbelt sounds like a bad sensor wire connection on the buckle. Try replacing the buckle/switch/wire. The clue is that it doesn't misbehave when unbuckled which seems to indicate intermittent contact when buckled.
