Flooding when cranking - 1994 Chevrolet S-10

Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-03-2018

Answers :

It is flooding because of incorrect fuel air mixture, and because the injectors are pumping the wrong amount of fuel.

This can happen for a number of reasons, such as vacuum problems, bad O2 sensor, MAF sensor, AIT sensor, misfire, distribution problems, injection problems and more.

The best thing to do is going to Autozone and performing a free fault code scanning.
Fault finding is free at Autozone, and will tell you what the problem can be.

After the scan they do not give you a printout with codes, therefore write down the OBD codes and come back to us with the codes.
