Having problems with your 1992 Toyota 4Runner ?

When i tun the key to start car the starter stays on even if I turn the key off, I have to disconect the batrrys to get it to stop it happens only now and then not all the time.

Basically, whenever the proper solenoid terminal has power, it'll run the starter.

Check the wire that is feeding the "Starting" signal to the solenoid. You could have a constant signal to the solenoid coming from the ignition key. You can also have a damaged solenoid.
The starter solenoid is sticking. replace the starter.
