Having problems with your 1991 Honda Civic ?

How to tell which distributor I have in my 1991 Honda Civic LX 1.5L

\015 I have a 1991 Honda Civic LX 1.5L. I need to replace the distributor and not sure how to ID the one I have there is no ID markings. It has two(2) plugs one with 2 prongs and the other with 5 prongs\012 The reason why I am replacing the distributor is because the rotars keep breaking seems like the hold down screws breaks so I drilled through the shaft and installed a nut/bolt to secure the rotor on but it still broke (I tried lock tite before I drilled ). Someone told me if I didn't use geniune hond parts that this would keep happening so I am going to replace the distributor and then ho to honda and get a cap and rotor\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-02-2018

Answers :

Best will be to remove the distributor and to use as a sample.
