Having problems with your 1990 Honda Civic ?

1990 Honda Civic LX with 172,000 miles on it. The timing belt broke, got it fixed, started right up. Took it for a test drive, it ran really good. Then it started losing power, was going down hill and had it floored only going 30 mph. Pulled over and cheked the fuel system. Started driving it again, for about 2miles it was running great. Then it started losing power again, so pulled over again. It died , and it won't start now. It has been in the shop for 3 weeks, and no one can figure it out.

Answers :

If you brake the timing belt on a honda it can cause permanant valve damage. You probably need a valve job.
