Both of my accessory outlets quit working (the outlets that you plug AC adapters into such as car chargers, portable DVD players, etc.). I pulled the fuse out from the fuse box (located on the drivers side of the dash board) and replaced it with several different kinds of the same type of fuse (20a). However, nothing works. Neither of them will work still. I tested the new fuses in the other 2 20a slots and the new fuses work fine. I tested the old fuses that were in the other 2 20a slots i

I have a 1991 Dodge B350 van that is having gauge issues. Neither the fuel gauge nor the temperature gauge is working, the spedometer is not working either. I have power getting to the board that these are all connected to, and I can get the fuel gauge needle to drop with no resistance, but do not know how to test the temperature gauge or the spedometer. Any hints on why these gauges are not working or how to test them? Grounding issues? The fuse is good & all power to the units is shut down whe

The cigarette lighters are not working on my Acura RSX. Neither the one in the front or the back. I have tried multiple phone chargers, and they will never work. Checked the fuses and that didn't help.

On the Air Conditioner on 98 Mustang. Sucked vaccum down then added two cans of freion. Unit still wouldn't come on, unless you jumpered it straight from thr battery. Then the compressor seemed to work fine. Why won't it work from the switch on the dash. All fuses are good.

At first I thought I only had a burned out drivers' side headlight. I replaced it and it worked. But neither of the two high beam lights work. In fact, when I turn on the high beams, all the headlights are out. The blue dash light lights to indicate high beams. Fuses look fine under the hood. What am I missing?

I need to turn off the car and start again, sometimes it will take me five or six times to have the electricity back again. Please let me know the reason. The fuse is alright, I have also changed a SAM unite. The problem is still there.

How do I change the a/c and heater unit switch in my 2003 Chevy Malibu? I posted a similar problem earlier but can't log back into Fixya. Since I posted the problem, I figured out the heating core is fine, the fan blows fine and there is no clog in the heating unit. Two mechanics told me it was probably the switch behind the dash or radio console but neither one knew how to replace it or didn't want to do it because it was going to be too much work.

Your problem could be in the temperature actuator behind the main heater/ac control, or it could be the control itself. GM doesn't sell anything of the control parts separately, you'd have to purchase the whole unit. Both parts fail at about the sa ... 2003 Chevrolet Malibu

Got my stereo stolen out of my 2005 Grand Am, and now neither my turn signals or my hazard lights work. I looked for torn or pulled out wires, but the only four that were loose were all attached to a unit beneath the console that claimed it was for the door chime... The fuses seem fine, and I am kinda lost as to why the signals aren't working.

The only thing that should not be working would be the audible turn signal / hazard signal sound. When the turn signals are activated, the audio (radio) system generates a clicking sound that indicates the signals are working. When the radio is ... 2005 Pontiac Grand Am

Main door and window switch. I replaced the unit but there is no power to the unit. Is there a relay or a fuse? I believe I checked all the fuses. Before I purcased a new part that I had to order the unit was working on the passenger and back door locks and windows just would not put the driver side window up. A tech at Nissan tried to get my window up by putting on a unit from another type of car and it did not work. After that we plugged mine back in and it did not work either.

AC/Heat problem When I bought my 2002 GMC Safari a year ago, the front AC and Heat worked, but only in M1 and M2 speeds. Now it does not function at all. My husband replaced the control on the dashboard with two different units and still no air. We've checked the fuses both in the vehicle and under the hood and no luck. What could be causing the problem and how do we fix it?
