Having problems with your Subaru Forester ?

When fueling up the vehicle, I accidentally leaned into the fuel door, bending it back (or overextending it) more than I should have on the hinge side. It won't close properly and is rubbing and scraping paint on the latch side. Would bending it back work? Is there a kit or part to fix it. Possibly the arm holding the door? Please give me general or specific advice. Thanks.
