Electric fuel pump will work if removed from vehicle and connected directly to a battery. There are no blown fuses. The relay to fuel pump is OK and power is passing through the relay. There is no power at the gas tank wire connection. Somewhere after the relay and before the pump the circuit is lost. I noticed that there is continuity between the two wires that connect to the fuel pump, and I don't think this is normal. any ideas on this? I'm not a mechanic or have much experience in thi

I have a 92 chevy s10 blazer 4x4 4.3 vortec W i just replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter.. it will start sometimes mainly after it sits overnight but when you drive it you can only drive for about 10 mins and it will chug the whole time and then shutoff... i was told it could be the fuel pump relay or the fuel pressure regulator and was wondering what to try first?

(2000 Chevy s10 blazer, bogs under acceleration) the fuel pressure regulator was replaced when the injection module was replaced, like i said, the complete unit was replaced. the truck had the problem before all the work was done to it. When i replaced the fuel pump i drained all the old fuel out of the tank, then soaked up what fuel was left in the tank before i installed the new pump with shop rags, filled it up with fresh gas after installing everything, test drove and still have problem. pl

I have 97 blazer with 4.3.had a deadshort to 5v reference wire that controls tps, air temp sensor circuit short was located a fuel level buffer module. relaced circuit board ....this resolved the low or no voltage issue. the problem now is that the car will crank, has spark and fuel but will not fire. i have replaced fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and tested for voltage pulses at injectors.... any thoughts

Fuel gauge registers empty with a full tank of gas on my 2001 chevy S10 Blazer, we replaced the fuel pump, sending unit. The new pump and sending unit came with a new wiring plug.
