Jumped battery started next day attempted to start and was dead i swapped out a battery no good then i swapped out the terminals to the battery and it started right up
I had the same problem with a 99 Bonneville- After replacing 4 batteries and checking out the alternator--the CURE was in the battery cables! They stack two cables on top of each other on the plus side terminal battery. The conductivity between the cables was the trouble. MY mechanic cut off the terminals and put on two cheap terminals which stack like the originals and Voila' no more problem!
