Having problems with your Land Rover Discovery ?

Wont start after overheting

\015 I have a Land Rover Discovery Series II and wile parked on my drive way I left it running and I dint know that it needed water. I return after 6 minutes and noticed a sputtered so I turn it off... I also notice that the temp gage was on red. I waited until it cooled, added more water and tried to start with no luck... I replaced the spark plugs and no start... I have a new battery and no luck... the engine rotates good and no start? any help would be appreciated.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 16-10-2017

Plugs out again crank over and see if any water comes out of the pots compression test all pots sounds like head gasket bad luck make sure you fix the low water level fault as well leaking rad or split hose
