Having problems with your Ford Mustang ?

I have a 2001 Mustang 3.8L v6. I'm having so many problems with it since I first bought it last April. There is a loud clicking noise coming from under the hood on the passenger side. My boss checked it out and told me it could be a manifold exhaust leak. But I'm not really sure, because after researching on it, it can be a lot of things./: Also my Check Fuel Pump light and Check Engine Soon light have been on for awhile. I bought a new fuel cap and changed out the oil...and nothing): the lights

Answers :

A manifold exhaust leak should not sound like a clicking noise but if a small leak it may sound like a smouthered popping sound. It will get loader in time.
\015\012 it sounds like the fuel pressure regulator is not operating correctly for it is allocating to much gas to your engine leaving the strong smell of fumes your are receiving.
