Having problems with your Daihatsu Rocky ?

We overheated our rocky a while back.Since then we noticed after climbing hills or towing over hills the revs alter.eg before the hills we do 3000rpm @ 90kmh.After the hills it will travel at about 3200-3300rpm at 90kmh.If i drop speed to 80kmh the rpms fluctuate from roughly 2800-3200rpm,revs will go up and down up and down as if the engine is searching or trying to find a medium of to where the rpms should be.If we pull over for 5mins or so,the rocky seems to come right. Hello. Drive to a transmission shop and tell them what symptoms you are experiencing. Often, the repair is an inexpensive matter of tightening the bands within the transmission which may have stretched a wee bit when the enging over heated. J.
