Having problems with your Chevrolet TrailBlazer ?
I bought a suspension lift for front and back... I am having a hard time getting my shocks to compress enough to install it..the people i got it from said I can use my factor shocks, help..
It depends on the amount of lift, but shocks don't take kindly to changes in the distance they have to travel in. They will at some point pull the mounting brackets off the truck. I have used this trick before. Mount the top of the proper shock on the truck and use a floor jack to raise the bottom of it to the mounting bolt height, then tap it on with a hammer. It will raise slowly because you are moving fluid through restricted holes but it should go if it's the right shock. Hope this helps.
