Having problems with your Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

Over fill tank is filling up when truck is running. Heat is always good but seems to be taking the fluid (antifreeze) from the radiator. The other day is was back to normal levels and the radiator was full?

Hi! When filling up the fluid reservois please make sure that it sits on the max/full level. If you overfill it the fluid will overflow when the engine is hot for there will be no fluid circulation. The reason why it sits on a normal level the other day is that the fluid subsided after the overfill. Hope this shed some light. Have a good one and thank you for using FixYa!
