Car came in no start-doa. replaced distributor pick up assembly. car ran but hesitated between 50-60 mph. replaced wires plugs,cap,rotor button, air filter. car runs, after about 4-5 min. driving car shuts down no throttle. let sit a few seconds, car starts and repeats problem. before tune-up pcm threw a mis-fire cyl#1,cleared code. no mis-fire code no hesitation just shut down problem with no engine lite. datastream shows cyl#1 0 misfire,cyl#2 0, cyl#4,5 &6 show high misfire rate. not famil

96 cirrus 2.5. No spark. distributor has 2 wire connectors , 1 has several wires , the other has only 1 wire. When I turn the key , the one that has only 1 wire gets 12 V , but it only lasts for a couple of seconds , then goes down to 0 v . My thinking is that this wire is to energize the coil , and should stay at 12 V to give the coil power to make spark for the Distributor. Can anyone tell me if that is suposed to be a continuos 12 v or not .

I pulled the #1 spark plug and put my finger over it and had someone turn the motor over until the pressure moved my finger. I then used a socket and moved it the rest of the way by hand until the mark on the pulley was lined up with tho 0. I put a straw inside the #1 cylinder to make sure the piston was at TDC and the piston was not near the top. I had someone hold the straw and turned the motor by hand and got the piston to the top and was pushing the straw out but now the mark on the pulley i

Using my OBD II on 2000 honda prelude trouble codes PO401 & (PO401 pd) all reads MIL on, monitors, 1 INC, EVAP, 7 ready, MISFIRE, FUEL, COMP, CATLYST, 02 sensor, 02 HTR, EGR. Will be cleaning out EGR, BUT do I need to replace my Solenoid? My prelude stalls and ideals out of first gear. (Autotranny). Is this stall caused by these trouble codes? Also with 1 pending code, what do you recomend? I ran car and used OBD II a 2nd time and only change was (0 inc) and 8 (ready).

I have a 1987 Plymouth reliant with an older a/c compressor. I've had the system evacuated and it holds pressure. I've also had it converted to 134 as well. When I add freon to the system, it registers high but when the compressor turns on, the pressure drops to 0. I also have to bypass the high pressure switch to get the compressor to engage. P171 code p171 lean to bank 1. 2003 Infiniti G35. Maf sensor seems to be within range. Only thing I noticed on my scanner is my long term fuel trim was 37.5% and 0 to 3%. Short term fuel trim was 99% and 0. I checked for vacuum leaks with no luck. I'm leaning towards bad O2 sensor or clogged/bad injector.

Fuel problems 1999 Grand Prix GTP 3800 Supercharged VIN 1: car starts, but shuts down within 10 seconds. You can see the fuel pressure drop within those 10 seconds. If I flutter the throttle, the fuel pressure will jump back up to 50lbs & back down to 0-10. But, you can keep the car running by doing that. I have replaced the fuel filter & helped a little bit, but still shuts down. Replaced fuel pressure regulator & fuel pump & oil pressure switch & still nothing. HELP....

Was drving my 2000 dodge caravan and the car stopped working while on the expressway. The RPM went from 2 to 1 and then finally 0 and the car wouldnt accelerate.
