Code P7085 My 2000 Jimmy feels like it is stuck in one gear and I read the code and I have a code of P7085 (i believe) Shift solenoid B electrical and I changed both Shift Solenoid A and B and the issues remained the same. Is the issue due to the ignition switch? And is the ignition switch located in the steering column? The instrument panel also started to crazy (after both solenoids were replaced).

When the key is turned to the start position, the current passes through the ignition switch, down the heavy yellow wire, to the junction with the wiring loom, but does not reach the solenoid on the starter. Hi, Oil level OK, Quality of oil uncertain, changed 4 months ago Just happened : You drive a mile, then it is like the gearbox is no longer connected, and you feel like in neutral mode. I have a 98 grand prix with auto air and dual climate control. I can not change the air flow through the vents. I have located the vacuum solenoid manifold under the dash that appears to control the flow of vacuum. I ran a test light to each lead that shows power for different air flow modes.
