Having problems with your Cars & Trucks ?

What should a crankshaft sensor waveform for 95 dodge 3.9 look like?

\015 Have a no start problem with a 95 model Dodge van with 3.9l v6. suspect crankshaft sensor. Have a readable waveform but very low amplitude in signal durring cranking. Amplitude less than 1v. cam sensor and injector trigger works but no spark. If I disconnect the coil and test the ground controll from the ecm, I have a flashing signal. Signal is lost when the coil is pluged back in and no spark from coil. Replaced with known good coil and same results. Is it probable that the crank signal is not strong enough for the ECM to provide the needed trigger for the coil to fire?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-12-2017
