Replaced fuel pump in my Dakota runs better but still is stalling

\015 Also have cleaned lac egr checked for vacuum leaks plugged cat looks OK on scanner no engine light . when you come to a stop it stalls starts right back up any suggestions\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-09-2017

Answers :

The idle air control valve or idle speed control motor should be raising the idle speed when engine load requires it.
You could raise base idle and see if it still stalls to narrow down the possibilities. A dirty throttle body could also cause problems but not very common on V-6 Dodge engines.
You did replace the fuel filter with the new pump right ??
What year and what engine size?
