\012There is a relay to the left of the clutch on my 1996 Hilux. This was causing a similar problem for me. It is found on the left side, iside the car, left of the clutch pedal.

1998plymouth grand voyager- the front instrument panel would quit working along with the compass and outside temp display while the car was being driven. No parking lights and no instrument panel back light. Fuses ok and TNS relay is working (you can hear it actuate when you turn on the parking lights from the switch on the steering column. 2002 Kia Rio. Have removed all the panels back to the LR parking light and found a few fusible links, all intact. Continuity test on the combination switch (steering column) tests OK. The rio has a light control module in the left kickpanel which allows all the parking lights to work. if you remove the module and take it apart, you will notice that the soldering joints are cracked. simply resolder the connetions or just replace ... Kia Rio

I was working on tail lights on 2004 dodge 1500 I ran a wire from hot side of park lamp fuse (inside cab fuse panel) to tail light connector.The alligator clip of my wire laid against the chrome step bar the wire burned (small gauge wire maybe 16 awg) in half, not the insulation but the wire inside. Head light switch on my F-250 doesn't turn on the head lights? Parking lights work, interior lights work, instrument panel lights work just no head lights. Owners manual says fuse is integral to the switch. I've removed the switch but see nothing serviceable on it. It does have a small plunger on the top of the switch body. Is that some sort of reset?
