Changing oa a battery

\015 All I want to do is change my battery can you tell me how? So far I have the negative post disconnected. The positive post is loosened but will not come off. What is wrong?????????\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 16-10-2017

You may need to use a battery terminal puller. It has a clamp that clamps around the connector, and a threaded post in the center. as you turn the threaded post, it will lift the terminal connector straight up (like a corkscrew pulling a cork out of a wine bottle). You can also make sure the connector is completly loosened, and try pulling the connector straight up by holding both sides of the connector and applying equal force while pulling. I've also had success by wiggling (rocking) the connector while pulling straight up. Don't be afraid to use a little muscle.
