Having problems with your 2006 Kia Sedona ?

Water pressure my 2000 sedona keeps over heating ive took the thermostate out and wat happens now is the gauge gos rite up to hot then drops back to half way and keeps doing this there seem to be a lot of pressure in the water system but the car drives find no loss of power could this be head gasket or the head its self or on air look as people have said dont want to spend hundreds if i dont need to eny ideas thanks mike

IT MAY BE YOUR RADIATOR AS THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM, WATER PRESSURE DOESN'T CONTROL TEMPERATURE. THE TEMPERATURE IS REGULATED BY HOW WELL THE RADIATOR COOLS THE WATER COMING FROM THE MOTOR,WATER PRESSURE IS REGULATED BY SPEED OF THE MOTOR, CHECK WWATER PUMP AS WELL
