I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 2WD and the engine light came on. I went to Auto Zone who did a quick check and found it to be a failed EVAP vent solenoid. I took it to the Chevy dealership who stated it was a solenoid 3.130 part # 19207763 and repaired it but said it was not under warrenty. I have approximately 41,000 miles on the truck. When I look in my owner's manual it does list the canister vent solenoid as an emission warrenty. Is the part they repaired the same thing?
