Having problems with your 2005 Nissan Pathfinder ?

89 model navara- reversing lights don't work but no fuses blown,can anyone help?

Assuming that it's an M/T car, underneath the vehicle, there will be a two prong electrical connector plugging into a small cylinder that mounts to the side of the transmission, or up near the shifter, either way, make sure it is plugged in, and then you can unplug it, and put the car in reverse. Use an ohm meter to check across the 2 prongs. 0 resistance (or close)= OK - Open Lead (OL) or very high resistance (MegOhms) means the switch is faulty. A/T cars usually incorporate these into a larger neutral safety switch mounted to the top of the transmission which is usually more extensive to test. A wiring diagram and some time will be necessary. There are a couple fuse links to test too - anything else not working???
